Stadio Roma: Pallotta presents the project, foundation stone by the end of the year

The 9,30-page dossier on the project that will lead to the construction of the new Roma stadium in the Tor di Valle area was delivered at 800. The Giallorossi president Pallotta has made it known that the plant could also be ready in 24 months

A stadium with 52.500 seats that can be extended up to 60.000. This will be there new home of As Roma presented today in a long press conference at the Salone delle Fontane in Eur in which were present, among others, the president James Pallotta, the ceo Italo Zanzi and the architect Daniel Liebskind, the builder Luca Parnasi and the head of the stadium project, Mark Pannes.

This morning Parnasi and Pannes delivered the dossier of about 800 pages to the Municipality of Rome in which the entire project linked to the Rome's new stadium.

The Municipality will have about a month to examine the project and deliver it to the Conference of Services of the Lazio Region which will have to pronounce itself within six months.

“Today – Pallotta said in a press conference – we took another huge step in the direction of the new Roma stadium as designed three years ago. We hope to start the works by the end of the year and then it will take 22-24 months for the stadium to open".
