The markets react with a sigh of relief to the outcome of the Btp auction despite the stellar yields. But the 7,5 billion BTPs have all been placed, which was not a foregone conclusion. And so Piazza Affari scores a rise of 0,50% (the FtseMib index at 14.650) . London +0,4%, Paris +0,75%, Frankfurt +0,76% also rose.

The Treasury, in particular, sold 3,5 billion three-year BTPs at a yield of 7,89% (from 4,93% in the previous auction at the end of October, 2,5 billion ten-year BTPs at 7,56% (from 6,06% at the end of October) and 1,5 billion 8-year BTPs (maturity 2020) at 7,28%.The euro is strengthening and is trading at 1,341 against the dollar, from 1,332 yesterday evening .

On the secondary market, the yield on the 7,26-year BTP is at 8%, up 500 basis points on yesterday. The spread with the Bund is at 1,9. The strongest acceleration is in financial stocks: among the banks, Unicredit +1,9%, Intesa +2,5%, Ubi +1,8%. Generali gains 5,2%, asset management stocks do well and Azimut in particular +XNUMX% boosted by the marketing intuition of the Solidity fund dedicated to Italian government bonds.

Industry stocks also participate in the increase: Pirelli rises by 3,3%, Fiat +2,4%, StM +1%. Ansaldo Sts rose by 2,2% after announcing the signing of the 1,3 billion dollar contract for the Honolulu subway. The parent company Finmeccanica rises by 1,6%. Construction stocks were positive. Buzzi +3%, Impregilo +2%. Maire Tecnimont +3,2%. Enel rises by 1,8%, Enel Green Power +1%. Brilliant Luxottica +2,1% and Parmalat +2,1%. Good rise for Mediaset +3%.
