Samsung, Galaxy S7 now on sale

The two latest jewels of the Korean house have arrived in Italy: the Galaxy S7 and the Edge version cost respectively 729 and 829 euros, for the 32 GB memory cuts – Here are the technical characteristics and differences.

Samsung, Galaxy S7 now on sale

Available in Italy the new smartphone from Samsung, the highly anticipated Galaxy S7, and its Edge version. The main difference between the two jewels is that the second uses a curved screen; then the Socs change, Exynos 8890 Octa and Snapdragon 820of the European and North American versions, respectively; and also the sensors used for the rear camera: ISOCELL for the first and Sony IMX for the second. However, both have one 12,2 megapixel resolution, record video up to 4K resolution and integrate Dual Pixel technology for focus.

The Edge version is also slightly heavier (157 grams against 152) and larger in terms of phone and screen size (5.1-inch Super AMOLED for the Galaxy S7, 5.5-inch for the Edge version). The RAM is 4GB for both and the operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Pricing

Samsung officially sells Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to prices of 729 and 829 euros respectively, for the 32 GB memory cuts. As can be seen, however, in various online telephony stores you can already save up to 130 euros for both models; some dealers on Amazon, offer Galaxy S7 for 635 euros and S7 Edge for 700 euros. Stockists offer Samsung Galaxy S7 in black for 609 euros and Samsung Glaxy S7 Edge for 709 euros.
