Open Fiber-Irideos: agreement for fiber to companies

IRIDEOS, the ICT hub for companies created by F2i which brings together the activities of Infracom, Mc-Link, KpnqWest Italia and BigTlc, has signed an agreement to use the Open Fiber fiber optic network throughout the country, making it available to businesses.

"The portfolio of IRIDEOS connectivity solutions is therefore enriched by the entirely optical fiber infrastructure of Open Fiber, both in Point-to-Point mode, with a connection dedicated to the single company headquarters, and in GPON mode, with a shared connection", explains the company in a note.

“Within complex digital transformation projects, which increasingly combine clouds, data centers and connectivity, it is essential to have very high performance fiber optic connections. The Open Fiber infrastructures allow us to further expand our ability to provide companies with the best solution, wherever they are” comments Danilo Vivarelli, CEO of IRIDEOS.

"The agreement with IRIDEOS confirms the technological primacy of the network infrastructure that Open Fiber is building throughout the country - says the CEO of Open Fiber Elisabetta Ripa - We are happy with the partnership with IRIDEOS which has a focus on the business market which we believe we can make a difference thanks to the high degree of reliability, innovation and capillarity of our network”.
