The luxury group Lvmh has announced the acquisition of the historic French bespoke haute couture house Arnys, founded in 1933 by the Gilbert family and still managed by the brothers Jean and Michel.

Arnys is one of the most prestigious men's haute-couture houses in France, thanks to the historic boutique in the seventh arrondissement, in Paris, which also sells pret-à-porter clothes. Antoine Arnault, CEO of Berluti, the footwear company of the Lvmh group which finalized the operation, expressed satisfaction with the agreement: "This acquisition seals the meeting between two brands of excellence, in their respective fields". Lvmh also communicated that all Arnys artisans and employees will be integrated into the buying group.
