Sda Bocconi is better than Oxford: it gets on the Forbes podium

Seen from the States, Sda Bocconi's MBA is the third best program in the world (excluding the US ones). This is the opinion of the prestigious US economics monthly Forbes which in its two-year ranking of MBA programs places Sda Bocconi, the only Italian school present in all the most important international rankings, third among the best business schools outside the USA.

The ranking is based on the sole criterion of the absolute return on investment for the program that the graduates have achieved in the five years following the MBA (i.e. the improvement in the salary after the cost of the program and the foregone salary in the period of attendance) . The ranking was compiled by sending a questionnaire to 2008 graduates of more than 100 of the world's top business schools.

“We are very proud of this result which allows us to confirm the value of their choice to MBA students. Being among the top 3 best (non-US) MBAs in the world in terms of return on investment represents concrete reassurance and a strategically essential asset for global competition", he comments Bruno Busacca, Dean of Sda Bocconi.

“Moving up in the rankings is a great satisfaction for all the faculty and staff involved, especially in the light of a global context in which competition is growing”, he comments Gian Mario Verona, director Mba. “The new position in this particular ranking reflects, among other things, an interesting assessment of the market which, in light of the growing opportunity cost, is starting to appreciate programs that transfer high value to candidates in an efficient way both in terms of timing and of the actual return on investment”.
