They are finally open orders in Italy for the new iPhone 4S, whose launch in stores will take place in exactly one week, on October 28th. The market's enthusiasm seems to skyrocket: evidently, after Jobs' death, the device, which had aroused little enthusiasm when it was presented, now enjoys the post-mortem aura of the Apple founder.
The new smartphone has already been available in some countries (including the USA and France) since last October 14, a week after Jobs' death. Prices in Italy should fluctuate between 659 euros for the 16 GB version, 779 for the 32 GB version and 899 for the 64 GB version. An iPhone 4 model that is not at all low cost, therefore, contrary to what was initially announced.
To commercialize the iPhone 4S in Italy will be Tim, Vodafone and 3. As far as subscriptions are concerned, Tim could combine the iPhone with the All Inclusive offers, with a 30-month contractual obligation and if this were the case, it would be necessary to pay 20 euros for the 16 GB version, 25 euros for the 32 GB version, and probably 30 euros for the 64GB model.
Vodafone, on the other hand, offers two possibilities which consist of a monthly contribution of up to a maximum of 29 euros, which is added to that provided for by the chosen subscription. 3 Italia, on the other hand, has set up a page on its website which simply informs of the imminent availability of the new Apple smartphone.
