Ferragamo-Prada, who made the right choice? According to Giuseppe Vegas, president of Consob, there is no doubt: it is the house of Salvatore Ferragamo, which is listed on Piazza Affari, and not Prada which at the end of June chose the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to list its shares on the financial markets .
In fact, in a speech during a conference on the reform of the financial markets, Vegas made a joke about Prada, though without mentioning it: “There was an IPO this year in Italy which is fine – says Vegas, implicitly referring to Ferragamo – while the competitor encounters some difficulties, perhaps duped by the sirens of the East”.
Ferragamo, on the other hand, has actually gained more than 30% since its listing on Piazza Affari at the end of June, despite the stock market crisis.
