The Generali group aims to grow in the employee benefits sector, seizing any development opportunities particularly in Asia, and has appointed Sergio Di Caro as head of the Generali Employee Benefits Network (GEB). Di Caro, 51, is currently the head of Generali Asia and has extensive experience in the employee benefits business, a statement said.
The new head of the Asian area - explains the CEO Mario Greco in the note - will be announced soon. Geb, a business unit of the Generali group, is based in Brussels and offers insurance solutions for the employees of multinational companies. In 2013 it recorded over 1,1 billion euros in premiums.
