The company's net profit amounted to 14,8 million euros, largely exceeding analysts' expectations – revenues, EBITDA and operating result were also growing, in addition to energy production.

Falck Renewables: first-half profit up 159% on 2014

The first semester of is archived Falck Renewables, that is it closed with a net profit of 14,8 million euros, an increase of 159% compared to the same period last year, when the profit of the company active in renewable energies had stopped at 5,7 million. Even the estimates of analysts, who had forecast a profit of 8 million euros, were largely exceeded.

In line with expectations, however, the other balance sheet items: i revenues increased 16% year over year to 147,2 million, while the ebitda grew by 18,1% to 85,1 million and the operating result by 16,6% to 46 million. Net financial debt, including the fair value of derivatives, decreased to 623,4 million from 638,1 million as at 31 December 2014.

The company's energy production in the first six months of 2015 amounted to 1.001 GWh, with an increase of 11,6% on an annual basis thanks above all to greater wind conditions. Furthermore, the company treated 135 tons of waste in biomass plants.

“Performance in the first half of 2015”, reads the press release issued by Falck Renewables, “constitutes an excellent basis for the achievement of decidedly positive results for the entire financial year”.
