Strong demand for the 3,5-year benchmark bond launched this morning by Eni. In the late morning, requests received exceeded XNUMX billion, so much so that the placement, according to sources familiar with the operation, should close today.

Thanks to the amount of orders, the “price guidance” decreased to 140-145 basis points on the midswap compared to the 145-150 initially forecast. The issue is handled by Banco Santander, Bnp Paribas, Jp Morgan Securities, Merrill Lynch and UniCredit Bang. The bond is dedicated to institutional investors and will be tradable on the Luxembourg market.
