One of the most recent activities of the project took place at the Ferrante Aporti Juvenile Penal Institute in Turin, where the educational program carried out by Juventus as part of the Twinning Project Ets, an initiative that unites professional clubs and penitentiary institutions through training programs aimed at young inmates at the end of their sentences.

As part of the project, four coaches from the Juventus youth sector followed 11 young prisonersbetween 18 and 21 years old, accompanying them through structured work between classroom, gym and field, with the aim of "transform the sporting experience into an educational laboratory, where football becomes a concrete tool for personal growth,” explains Enel Cuore in a statement.

The Twinning Project was born in 2018 in the UK and is now active in over 70 professional clubs worldwide, with more than 6.000 participants involved. The model is based on the twinning between football clubs and penitentiary institutions, with educational programs that use football as a universal language to develop personal, social, and professional skills.

"The program aims to develop transversal skills that are increasingly in demand in the workplace: effective communication, individual responsibility, leadership, collaboration skills, and conflict management. This approach aims to strengthen self-esteem and awareness, key elements in social reintegration," explains Enel Cuore, which has collaborated not only with Juventus, but also with Inter. The Nerazzurri club has in fact completed a training program with the Kayros community, structured into weekly meetings and focused on leadership, teamwork and personal growth, with the final awarding of a certificate in "Leadership in Sport".

Over the years the program has spread internationally, reaching Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and North America, thanks to the collaboration with leading football and institutional entities. “The Twinning Project model also stands out for its increasingly structured and measurable approach: several studies have highlighted significant improvements in the psychological well-being of participants and a reduction of risky behaviors and recidivism rates, strengthening the validity of the educational method,” highlights Enel Cuore, underlining that with the completion at Ferrante Aporti, the program further consolidates its presence in Italy, and will return in September with new initiatives carried out together with other sports teams, the philanthropic organization anticipates.

"Growth continues to be decisively supported by Enel Cuore, which confirms its central role in developing the network between sports clubs, institutions, and educational institutions," the statement concludes.
