Consultique opens new office in Milan. The Italian independent financial consultancy company belongs to the first Italian professional network with over 200 independent financial consultancy firms and firms throughout Italy.
Caesar Armellini, CEO of Consultique and president of NAFOP, is a member of the Executive and Select Committee of the OCF (Supervisory Body and Keeper of the Single Register of Financial Advisors) together with the financial sector associations representing banks and their sales networks ( ABI, Assoreti, Assonova, etc.).
Consultique: over 20 years of history
Founded by Cesare Armellini, Giuseppe Romano and Luca Mainò in 2001, Consultique's mission is to disseminate independent financial advice to Italian investors. Thus a new profession was born, that of the independent financial advisor, not tied to any bank or network.
In 2004 the collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore. The Studies and Research Office, which today has over 15 analysts, is the main supplier of analyzes for the newspaper. Again in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, in 2006 and 2008 the first books and manuals on independent financial advice were published in Italy. The third and final book came out in May 2022.
In 2005, Consultique founded NAFOP (National Association Fee Only Planners) – the first national association of independent (now renamed “autonomous”) financial advisors.
In 2011 the “Fee Only Summit”, national event of independent financial advice, which brings together all the independent financial advisors of the Network Consultique. Over the years, the event has become increasingly important, attracting not only fee-only consultants but also all market operators interested in the evolution of the financial consultancy market and in setting up their own studio or independent financial consultancy company.
In December 2018, the profession of independent financial advisor is institutionalized in our country.
It was born on December 1st 2018 OCF (Supervisory body and keeping of the single register of Financial Advisors), the new Register of financial advisors which also includes independent financial advisors (independent financial advisors section) and independent financial advisory firms (consulting companies section).
