CHAMPIONSHIP - A glittering Juventus overwhelms Zeman's Roma: 4 to 1

CHAMPIONSHIP - The Bianconeri win the long-awaited super match against Roma with goals and crossbars: goals from Pirlo (perfidious free-kick), from Vidal (from a penalty for hand ball by Florenzi) and from Matri, and crossbars from Marchisio and Vucinic in the first half – In the second half Roma shorten with penalty by Osvaldo but Giovinco restores the distance – Zeman disastrous.

CHAMPIONSHIP - A glittering Juventus overwhelms Zeman's Roma: 4 to 1

Simply monstrous! It is becoming increasingly difficult to find the right adjectives to define this Juventus, capable of outdoing themselves game after game. The sensation that the Bianconeri were preparing something big had already been felt during the match in Florence, when they had pulled the oars in the boat, almost settling for a painless draw. Better to keep good cartridges for Zeman's Rome, the enemy par excellence, capable of angering even an ex who disappeared into thin air like Cobolli Gigli.

The difference between the Bianconeri and the rest of Italy is enormous, but against the Giallorossi it was downright embarrassing. Eighteen minutes were enough to knock out Zeman, who this time won't be able to appeal to non-football speeches to justify everything. The field spoke clearly, more than the club did this week. Also yesterday at the press conference Claudio Filippi, a very valid goalkeeper coach (Buffon called him the reason for his rebirth), but certainly not a Juve coach, showed up. It should be noted that Conte's disqualification does not apply to television interviews, despite the fact that the media "satisfied" with Carrera. But if now he ends up on the run too…

Better to talk about the match, which saw only one team on the field from the start. Bad, compact and tactically perfect, Juve literally ate Roma in less than half the time. Pirlo on a free-kick, Vidal on a penalty, Matri on an open play, here they are the black and white stamps towards that destination which is called the Scudetto, and to these must be added the two crossbars hit by Marchisio and Vucinic. Zeman observed so much agonistic fury with his usual impassive expression, but we can swear that this defeat hurts more than usual. Then, in the second half, the bianconeri (rightly!) saved energy for the Champions League, which on Wednesday will see Shakthar's Ukrainians land in Turin, but as soon as Roma have shortened (so to speak...) the distances (Osvaldo on a penalty), here who have resumed their loud voice (Giovinco on an assist from Barzagli).

The beautiful, and in some ways incredible, thing about this Juve is that there are no starters and reserves, except in some key departments. The attack, however, is a real carousel, on which everyone takes turns going up to celebrate. After the glories of Quagliarella, yesterday it was Matri and Giovinco's turn and soon it could be Bendtner's turn (Vucinic is the only untouchable). A perfect alchemy, which translates into entertainment, goals and victories. And if things continue like this, the trophies will come too.
