European stock markets closed higher, except Frankfurt, with Milan led by Campari and TIM. Wall Street holds its highs thanks to technology and artificial intelligence, despite the US shutdown. Follow the LIVE broadcast.

Le European stock markets close in positive, with Frankfurt (-0,15%) the only exception. Milan advances by 0,42%, supported by increases in Tim (+ 2,6%), Campari (+3,3%) and the banking sector, while Paris scores +0,27%, Amsterdam +0,24%, e Madrid e London stand out with +0,67%.

Lo shutdown in the United States stops the publication of the employment report September, a key indicator for the Fed, but it does not slow down Wall Street, that continues to move on the highs Thanks to the strength of the artificial intelligence sector, investors are monitoring the duration of the blockade without any particular concerns for the market.

Also standing out at Piazza Affari are Stellantis (+2,3%), awaiting possible news on Free2move. Focus still on banks, with Mps Bank (-0,8%) which defined the List for the renewal of the Mediobanca board of directors (-0,7%) following the success of the takeover bid, while the shares also benefited from the decision by Dbrs Ratings to raise the rating on the long-term senior debt.

On the currency front, theeuro returns above $1,17; spread between BTP and Bund stands at 84 points, with the yield on the Italian ten-year bond slightly down to 3,54%. Brent and WTI remain little moved, gas in Amsterdam is falling, while the remains stable around 3890 dollars.
