Sunny day in Piazza Affari for the Lottomatica stock, which in mid-morning jumped by almost two points, among the best rises of the Ftse Mib. The wave of purchases can be explained by the latest data arriving from the gaming giant, which yesterday evening after the markets were closed communicated the consolidated preliminary results for 2012. Numbers equal to or higher than the targets.

TheEbitda it stood at 1,03 billion, marking an increase of 6,3% on an annual basis (970 million in 2011). The increase "was supported by the higher revenues recorded by the subsidiaries Gtech and Spielo International - explains the company -, by the cost containment actions implemented in Italy and by the favorable trend in exchange rates".
As for the investments, last year they reached 256 million euros, down from the 345 million of 2011 (some investments planned for 2012 have been postponed to 2013). As of December 31, 2012, the net financial position of the group amounted to 2,55 billion, against 2,74 billion at the end of 2011.
