Barilla announces the appointment of Claudius Colzani like new CEO of the group. The manager, currently Chief Customer Officer of Unilever in the United States, will take office starting in October.

We are confident that Claudio Colzani will be able to successfully implement our strategy, which focuses on the development of pasta, sauces and ready meals worldwide, from the Americas to the Far East, and on strengthening the baked product categories of our brands in Italy and in the main European countries".
Colzani's career at Unilever began in Italy, in sales, in 1984. Over the last decade he has held positions in various countries, becoming president of Unilever Bestfoods in Brazil, and managing director and president of Unilever France.
