Non-performing loans from Italian banks are starting to drop sharply. The monthly report of the ABI gives an account of the January figure, referring to net non-performing loans. The value of 77,8 billion noted by the Economic Analysis Office of Palazzo Altieri is the lowest since June 2014. In December, net non-performing loans were still 86,8 billion. The decline makes it possible to reduce the net non-performing loans/lending ratio which drops to 4,45% from 4,89% in December.
