The top management of Allianz Italia changes. Carlo Salvatori, a well-known banker already at the top of numerous Italian credit institutions, has been appointed president of Allianza Italia. The banker takes the place of Giuseppe Vita, elected president of the Unicredit Group last May 11th. Saviours he will keep his position as president of Lazard Italiaas there is no incompatibility between the two.
The Group, led by the managing director George Sartorel, has also appointed Deputy Chairmen Dieter Wemmer and Giovanni Gabrielli and directors Michael Diekmann, Gianfelice Rocca, Carlo Secchi and Jorg Weber.
