Morocco, Map agency signs agreement with Agi

The general manager of the Moroccan press agency MAP - Agence Marocaine de Presse, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, and the managing director of Agi - Agenzia Giornalistica Italia, Gianni Di Giovanni, signed a memorandum of undestanding today in Rome which ratifies the will of the two agencies to further deepen the already solid relationship between Italy and Morocco, while at the same time strengthening the value of the two companies.

The agreement reaffirms the will of MAP and Agi to collaborate in editorial production, both in the field of primary information and in integrated and multimedia communication activities, in professional training and in the organization of events.

Khalil Hachimi Idrissi said that “the signing of this memorandum between the two institutions will help strengthen relations between Agi and MAP to develop partnerships. The exchange of experiences and good practices, the exchange of information and professional training activities for the benefit of the staff of both agencies will take place over the next five years.

“Agi has always followed the current events of the Arab world and the African context with great attention – commented Di Giovanni – with a view to supporting the country system towards the economic and political contexts that have greater complementarity and capacity for integration with ours. In this sense, Morocco is the ideal partner, due to its strong and stable institutions and its openness to economic dialogue with Italy. We are certain that the partnership with MAP will allow us to perform this role of support and stimulus even better".
