The Board of Directors of ENAV SpA approved the management results al 30 September 2022. The revenues consolidated totals amount to 714,4 million euros, up by 21,6% compared to the same period of 2021, and are due to the decisive resumption of air traffic in Italy, especially in the summer period.

Revenues from operating activities amounted to 705,8 million euros with an increase of 106,5% compared to 2021. EBITDA amounted to 219,8 million euros, an increase of 49,7%. L'Net income is 91,8 million euros, more than doubled compared to the corresponding period of 2021. Total operating costs amounted to 494,6 million euros, up by 12,2%. Net financial debt at 30 September 2022 shows a balance of 429 million euros, an improvement of 54,6 million euros compared to the figure recorded at 31 December 2021.

Resumption of air traffic: the increase throughout the Italian territory

In the first nine months of the year there was a notable increase in air traffic volumes. The en route and terminal traffic He had a more than 86% increase compared to 2021. Domestic air traffic (arrivals and departures from Italian airports) increased by 52,5%, while international traffic increased by 119,8%. The overflight component (planes crossing Italian airspace without a stop) increased by 86,9%.
The increase in traffic volumes was generalized throughout the Italian territory and is in line with the European average. The stopover of Roma Fiumicino had an increase of 125,6% compared to 2021 while the airports of Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Venice Tessera and Bergamo Orio al Serio recorded an increase of 84,6% in service units.
