CDP's nominations conclude: Barchiesi heads CDP Equity, Turicchi heads CDP Real Asset.

Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has completed its subsidiary appointments: Fabio Barchiesi becomes CEO of CDP Equity, Antonio Turicchi moves to CDP Real Asset, and Moroello Diaz della Vittoria Pallavicini takes over as president of Fintecna.

Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (Cdp) has the round of nominations has been completed in its main subsidiaries, thus defining the new power map within the galaxy of the group led by Dario Scannapieco. Fabio Barchiesi appointed new CEO of CDP Equity

The most coveted armchair, that of CEO of CDP Equity, going to Fabio Barchiesi, 42 years old, current deputy general manager of CDP and the group's investment director. He takes over from Francesco Mele, who resigned in September to take on the role of chief financial officer of Campari.

Barchiesi, with an Executive MBA from Luiss and a master's degree in planning and control from Bocconi, joined Cdp in 2021, after experiences in Coni Servizi and Coni Sport Lab. Since then he has become one of the Scannapieco's closest collaborators, to the point where he now leads the financial arm of the Cassa, which controls strategic stakes worth 3,8 billion euros.

In the CDP Equity portfolio Its holdings include stakes in giants such as Saipem, Fincantieri, Webuild, Nexi, Euronext, Open Fiber, Autostrade per l'Italia, F2i, and Polo Strategico Nazionale. It is also the majority shareholder of Diagram, Italy's leading agritech hub, and holds significant stakes in companies such as Renovit, Greenlt, Hotelturist, Valvitalia, Trevi, and Kedrion.

His appointment ensures operational continuity and extends the term of the delegations at CDP by one year, now aligned with the spring 2027 expiration, as for the entire Via Goito summit.

Turicchi to lead CDP Real Asset, Zuin to be president

Change also at the top of Cdp Real Asset, the company that manages the group's real estate investments. The presidency is taken over by Michael Zuin, former Forza Italia MP, while the new CEO will be Antonio TuricchiTuricchi, former president of Autostrade per l'Italia and ITA Airways, is thus leaving his position as head of Fintecna, the group's holding company, which operates in the development and management of industrial and real estate investments.

Diaz della Vittoria Pallavicini and Valducci at the top of Fintecna

Right in Fintecna, after the resignation of the majority of the board of directors which had led to the expiry of the board, the the new board will be led by Moroello Diaz of Vittoria Pallavicini, appointed president, and by Mario Valducci, former parliamentarian and manager, as CEO.

With these appointments, Scannapieco consolidates CDP's new operational structure, strengthening its internal leadership and ensuring continuity in the group's industrial and financial strategy, which in recent months has invested €16 billion to support the country's growth and competitiveness.
