Franco Moscetti leaves the office of CEO of Amplifon at the end of a six-month period closed with growing results. For over ten years at the helm of the manufacturer of hearing solutions, Moscetti resigns his powers with effect from 22 October. The current general manager Enrico Vita has been identified for the position of CEO.
With the approval of the 2014 accounts, the board had introduced the function of COO, entrusting it to Vita. As regards the results for the first half, consolidated revenues rose by 20,1% at current exchange rates, to 500,3 million euro. Recurring EBITDA rose 36,7% to $78,6 million.
Net profit at the end of June amounted to 18,5 million. Net of extraordinary charges and income for the half-year and non-recurring tax income from the previous year, the leap is 102,9%. Financial debt rose to 257 million compared to 248,4 million at the end of 2014. Free cash flow in the period amounted to 19,8 million.
