(Teleborsa) – In November, for the industry turnover there was a cyclical increase of 1,3%. communicates theIstat explaining that the seasonally adjusted index reaches highest level (106,8) since September 2011. The comparison between the average of the last three months and the previous three shows a growth of 1,2%.
Orders in November show a slight cyclical increase (+0,3%); in the last three months compared to the previous three, however, there was a slight decrease (-0,1%).
The cyclical growth in turnover in November is mainly due to the domestic market (+1,9%), while a more contained increase is recorded for the foreign market (+0,2%); on a trend basis +3,7% and +7,7%. Orders show moderate increases in both markets (+0,2% for the domestic market and +0,4% for the foreign market).
The seasonally adjusted turnover indices show cyclical increases spread across all the main groupings of industries but more relevant for energy (+2,4%).
Corrected for calendar effects (there were 21 working days as in November 2016) the total turnover grew in trend terms by 5,1%, with increases of 3,6% on the domestic market and 7,7% on the foreign market .
The raw turnover index increases, in trend terms, by 5,1%: the largest contribution to this increase comes from the internal component of intermediate goods.
In terms of turnover, the most significant trend increase is seen in the manufacture of petroleum products (+13,6%), while the manufacture of means of transport shows the only drop in the manufacturing sector (-4,7%). In comparison with the month of November 2016, the raw index of orders marks an increase of 8,9%. All sectors recorded increases, particularly significant is that of metallurgy (+14,0%).
