Development project

AL Iniziative Editoriali Srl is the publishing company of FIRSTonline newspaper, holder for the concession of the advertising on the Internet sites owned by him, as well as responsible for editorial, IT and multimedia products of FIRSTonline Media Solutions.

Founded in 2011, FIRSTonline is a digital publication of AL Iniziative Editoriali Srl, a publishing company controlled by Ernesto Auci e Franco Locatelli and owned by three minority shareholders.

The editorial office is located in Rome and is made up of a group of journalists professionals long-running along with many young. Other collaborators and some professional figures in the ICT sector work with them.

FIRSTonline deals with economics, finance, politics, business, work and technology. The masthead then also develops the specific themes of the ART, FOOD and MADE IN ITALY market, entrusted to the care of important names in journalism in the sector.

Ferruccio de Bortoli, the former Director of Corriere della Sera and Sole 24 Ore, in his book “The things we don't tell each other (all the way)” called FIRSTonline “the best of the economic analysis sites”.

Information, insights and analyzes are mainly distributed through the site https://www.firstonline.info with full usability through desktop computers, notebooks, tablets and smartphones, as well as through dedicated profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn e Instagram (a Profile except for the art market).

The advertising spaces are managed exclusively by the “Italia On Line” concessionaire.

FIRSTonline boasts a path of systematic growth and has reached the current levels of diffusion with the sole strength of its precise editorial project and the professionalism of its working approach. Subscriptions, the sale of editorial products and services (print publications, online editorial platforms) and advertising ensured, right after the establishment phase, full economic equilibrium in an objectively difficult context.

FIRSTonline is news source for the most important web aggregators: NEWSONLINE, Google News , Microsoft MSN News, Flipboard, squids, InTopic, TWNews. To the transparency and competence of the editorial staff, verifiable on the evaluation platform Trustpilot Reviews Buy, most of the reasons for our editorial success can be traced back, which boasts the best reputation for economics and finance content.

Measurements of news approval and traffic generated on our site are estimated by the system Audiweb, but also have detailed numerical feedback through Google Analytics.

In April 2020, FIRSTonline registered the record more than 5 million views, adding up the direct visits to the site, those on the news portals that reproduce the contents taken from the dedicated feed and those that take place on social platforms. It is about 2 million readers who have chosen the information of FIRSTonline.

Also in April of the same year, according to Google Analytics surveys, the historical maximum of site page views was reached, for a total of 207 thousand and 553 page views in a single day.

The data relating to the permanence of users on the individual pages of the FIRSTonline site describe a rare peculiarity in the online editorial panorama, since each user spends on average over 3 minutes on each article page consulted, when – in general – an online newspaper records permanence times within the minute. FIRSTonline is therefore a credible and appreciated showcase for content, a place where users expect to find interesting information that goes beyond the expressiveness of a title.

FIRSTonline, from 26 October 2020, has joined the Newsonline network, the Business Unit within Italiaonline, conceived as the exclusive concessionaire for the sale of advertising space for a significant pool of native digital sites in the news&information category.
