Daniele Discepolo is the new extraordinary commissioner of Alitalia, a role in which he will take the place of the outgoing Luigi Gubitosi, passed to lead Tim. The appointment was communicated by the Ministry of Economic Development.
“As already happened in May 2017 – we read in the note – at the opening of the extraordinary administration of the airline Alitalia, when it was decided to derogate from the procedural rules then in force for the appointment of extraordinary commissioners, it was also decided on this occasion to hasten the times as much as possible, in order to proceed quickly to the replacement of Gubitosi and in the light of the very delicate phase of the procedure for the sale of the company's corporate complexes".
Discepolo, underlines the Mise again, "is a professional with great experience in the sector of bankruptcy proceedings and corporate recovery".
