With these words Luigi Castelletti, vice president of Unicredit, opens the door to possible new entries in the capital of the Bank. On this front, Castelletti is therefore in harmony with the managing director Federico Ghizzoni, who yesterday confirmed his willingness to welcome new shareholders.
As for the possibility that the institution's shareholder Foundations continue to give their support, perhaps by subscribing to a possible capital increase, Castelletti (who represents the Cariverona Foundation within the board of directors) limited himself to reiterating that "the shareholders with their specific situations. It is out of the question that every decision will be taken when the industrial plan is in place”.
