Scudetto 2006, a white-hot clash between Juve and Inter

In the current storm between Calciopoli and Calcioscommesse, there is great expectation for the outcome of the sentence which will hopefully decide the fate of the 2006 Scudetto. A title whose football memory is now only a faded memory but which is become the subject of more heated contention than ever between Juventus and Inter and the stake is the pride of the two clubs.

On the black and white front, the last to speak today was a symbol of the Turin club, such as Gigi Buffon, who declared: "That Juventus won its championships on the pitch and instead the club and us players were muddy".
The national team goalkeeper also adds: “I await the final verdict. If I'm not mistaken, the sums will be drawn up on July 18th. It's not a matter of feeling it or not, it's that the field had spoken clearly. Then other situations took over that also disgraced us players because they wanted to get the message across that we won because we had a certain leadership and not because we were good."

These words sound like a harsh message to all the critics of his beloved Juventus, above all in response to the recent statements by Massimo Moratti who convincedly claimed Inter's membership in the 2006 Scudetto. In an interview with "la Repubblica" the Nerazzurri patron defended the Inter icon Facchetti to the hilt, specifying that it is a defense that is independent of the desire to keep the Scudetto. “At this point the Scudetto becomes a secondary fact if you like. Still, but secondary."
