Assets under management: September net inflows +3,1 billion

For the ninth month in a row, the asset management sector records positive inflows, albeit slowing down compared to the previous two months – According to Assogestioni, the possibility that 2013 could become the record year of the decade for the sector.

The asset management sector recorded the ninth consecutive month of positive deposits, even if the flows show a new slowdown. This was reported by Assogestioni which specifies how, in the month of September, total deposits stood at 3,1 billion after 5,4 in August and 6,3 in July.

The cumulative figure for the first nine months of the year thus rises to 55,6 billion euros, making the possibility that 2013 could become the record year of the decade for the sector more concrete.

Total assets rose to 1.283,6 billion, from 1.270 in August. The portfolio management component grew sharply, to 3,5 billion (from 2,1 billion in August), while overall management recorded a real collapse, falling to -348 million from +3,27 billion in August.
