The bank rally continues. But the forerunner for the Bull in Piazza Affari is Tod's which, after the results of the second quarter, rises by 5,6%. Bank of America confirmed the buy opinion and raised the target price to 140 euros.

The Milanese FtseMib index +0,82% at 16975 is still today the brightest in Europe.

The London Stock Exchange advanced by 0,34%, Paris +0,36%, Frankfurt +0,41%, Madrid +0,74%.

On the European equity markets, the best sector is that of mining and commodity stocks like RioTinto and Bhp Billiton which in London rose by 1,3% and 1,5% respectively. The rise in raw materials justifies the leap, reflecting the better-than-expected results of Chinese exports.

THEeuro is up to 1,336 vs dollar, from 1,333 at yesterday's close, the highest since mid-June.

Il OECD superindex continues its slow recovery and scores 100,7 points in June (100,6 in May). For Italy, which obtains the best rating, the indicator continues to signal a 'positive change' in economic growth.

On the market for government bonds the yield of the 10-year BTP is stable at 4,23%, spread at 254 (unchanged).

Banks in evidence in Europe: still going up Unicredit +2,66% followed by Understanding + 1,82% Mediobanca +1,84% and Banco Popolare + 1,46%.

In Frankfurt Commerzbank rises by 10% on the back of good results.

It's an exception MontePaschi, down 3,36% after second-quarter results.

Between the insurance, Generali rises by 1,13% and exceeds 15 euros.

The stock is at its highest for two years but for Mediobanca Securities other stocks are more interesting starting with the "exciting restructuring stories" of Unipol (outperform) and Fonsai +0,3% outperform.

Telecom Italia rebounds +1,87% on the heels of Deutsche Telekom which rose by more than 4% after the half-year which highlighted solid growth in the United States.

Fiat 0,17% salt, Finmeccanica earn 1,33%, StM + 0,08%.

Fly Falck Renewables +7,5% after good results,
