Keesy – start-up founded in Florence that offers the first fully automated self check-in and self check-out service in the world dedicated to the home sharing sector – presented the new commercial offer of dedicated services.
The dedicated press conference took place in Florence in the presence of the founder of Keesy Patrizio Donnini on the occasion of BTO - Buy Tourism Online, an international reference event in the tourism and innovation sectors, and was also the occasion to announce the next Keesy openings in Rome (in December), Milan, Venice, and other cities that will be added to Florence.
Keesy represents a unique solution in the world in non-hotel tourist hospitality as it is based on a business model - with patents filed in 151 countries - which optimizes the home sharing experience, making it more flexible, safe and efficient and which digital at the service of managing the reception of the host to the guest.
The heart of Keesy's operation is the Keesy Point, a video surveillance facility located near railway stations, airports, metro stops, open 7 days a week, 7 hours a day, where check-in and check-out take place, in particular the collection and return of the keys to the accommodation, which the guest accesses in a Keesy Box using a confidential code shared with the host via the app.
The new Keesy commercial offer, available in on-demand mode starting from the end of January, is based on the principle of modularity which sees the offer of a basic check/in check/out service flanked by a multiplicity of optional additional services for hosts and guest based on your needs. In this way, Keesy enriches the way of booking services making it more flexible and customizable in response to market needs.
The Keesy services, which can be activated individually at the time of booking, will be as follows:
- scanning of documents and communication of data to the police headquarters or to the host
- the collection of the tourist tax and the direct sending to the municipality or to the host
- the payment of the stay and any cleaning services
- signing the terms and conditions of the facility
- the release of the home automation access code (which can be selected together with at least one of the services listed above)
- the delivery and collection of the keys at the Keesy Point.
Keesy services can be purchased individually or by subscription, on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions will include a rate that includes all online services, an additional rate for the Keesy Box for one month and an additional alternative rate for the Keesy Box for 24 hours.
As part of BTO, Keesy has also been selected to compete in the "Italian Startup Open" contest: the winning start-up will have the opportunity to participate in the Phocuswright Europe Conference 2018 in Amsterdam and make itself known in the world.
