Gucci buys Richard Ginori for 13 million

La Richard Ginori passes into the hands of Gucci for 13 million euros. The operation ends without any auction: no other pretender than the maison of Italian origin for the purchase of the historic porcelain manufacturer, born in 1735 and went bankrupt at the beginning of 2013.

The provisional award is scheduled for 15 pm today, while the definitive one will take place after the signing of the union agreement. The agreement will have to provide for the reabsorption of 230 employees out of 305, a condition precedent set by the fashion group to complete the purchase. However, the Cobas have already announced their intention to propose solidarity contracts for the reabsorption of all employees.
