Busy day for the Board of Directors of Fondiaria Sai, which made more than one decision in the space of a few hours. In the first place, the three new directors indicated by Unicredit after the agreement with Premafin were appointed. These are Roberto Cappelli, Ranieri De Marchis and Salvatore Militello, who will take the place of the resigning Francesco Corsi, Giuseppe Morbidelli and Sergio Viglianisi. The Board then increased the members of the Executive Committee from 7 to 9, of which De Marchis and Militello will also be members.
Secondly, the entry into the capital of the company of the American fund Amber was announced today. Fondiaria Sai specifies in a note that it looks "with satisfaction at the investment of Amber, which strengthens the base of stable shareholders of the group". The operation is "a sign of confidence in the company and its strategy by a significant international institutional investor".
On the Stock Exchange today, the company's stock closed trading unchanged.
