He is always the president. Luca Cordero di Montezemolo has been reconfirmed at the helm of Ferrari by the board of directors. Piero Ferrari remains vice president and Amedeo Felisa managing director.
The confirmations come in the wake of the 2013 financial statements, approved by the shareholders' meeting and which show record turnover, profits and financial position, with reduced sales to preserve the exclusivity and value of the brand.
Last year, cars sold fell by 5,4% (6922 cars delivered), while turnover rose by 5% to 2,3 billion euros. Net income recorded a +5,4% to 246 million. The net industrial financial position, at the end of 2013, was positive by 1,36 billion.
Also on the agenda is the appointment of directors for the three-year period 2014-2016. The meeting confirmed the current directors Luca di Montezemolo, Piero Ferrari, Amedeo Felisa, Al Mubarak Khaldoon Khalifa, Alfredo Altavilla, Eduardo Humberto Cue, Sergio Marchionne, Richard Palmer and Marco Piccinini, in addition to Harald J. Wester, Scott Garberding , Antonio Picca Piccon and Giorgio Fossati.
Gianni Coda, Sir Christopher Gent, Paolo Monferino and Lindsay Owen Jones leave the board. The meeting also appointed the new board of statutory auditors, made up of Ignazio Carbone (standing auditor and chairman), Paolo Piccatti and Piergiorgio Re (standing auditors), in addition to the alternate auditors Giorgio Cavalitto and Paolo Claretta Assandri.
