Borsa, Autogrill ok despite profit down

Autogrill ended 2013 with a net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of 87,9 million, down 9,2% on 2012.

Autogrill ended 2013 with a net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of 87,9 million, down 9,2% on 2012. The result was affected by the demerger of the Travel Retail & Duty Free businesses (merged into World Duty Free ), which in 2013 contributed to the group's accounts for only 9 months. The Food & Beverage activities alone recorded a profit of €8,3 million last year, up 12,1% on 2012.

Revenues stood at 4,1 billion (-1,7%), while the ebitda fell by 4,1% to 314 million and the ebit by 13,7% to 88,3 million. The financial debt fell to 672,7 million from 933,2 in 2012. The board of directors will propose to the meeting 'to allocate the profit to the reserve, favoring the strengthening of the group's assets', without distributing dividends.

After the publication of the accounts, at the beginning of the afternoon on title Autogrill earns more than 2% a 7,36 euro.
