Finally, our infrastructural plan provides for the strengthening of the extra-urban electric recharging network which will make it easier for electric cars to reach Cortina from the major Italian cities. Together with the Cortina 2021 Foundation, we will launch a series of concrete initiatives to encourage travel on board electric vehicles and continue to develop the charging infrastructure in view of the 2021 Alpine Ski World Championships".

The agreement between Enel and Audi Italia will make it possible to offer a complete package of services and private charging infrastructure available at the car manufacturer's dealership network to private customers, small businesses or professionals who will purchase the new Audi e-tron from next autumn . In particular, the services relating to the verification of the conditions for the installation of a private charging wallbox, the support for the request for power increase, as well as the supply and installation of a new concept wallbox will be offered. In addition, each Audi e-tron customer will have the opportunity to access Enel's public charging infrastructure through a dedicated profile on the "e-go top-up app": a turnkey, integrated and electric solution.
Thanks to the agreement between Enel and the Municipality of Cortina, it will also be possible to use the public quick and fast charging stations, which will be installed in the Ampezzo area. The extension of the recharging infrastructure to include the most important ski resort in Italy, as well as expanding the possibility of using e-cars outside the urban environment as well, will make it possible to increase the offer of tourist services also for those who drive electric.

Enel X was born within the Enel Group, the company dedicated to the development of electric mobility and digital services for customers, cities, companies and the public administration. To encourage the spread of zero-emission mobility in Italy, Enel has launched a national plan for the installation of recharging infrastructure: around 7 columns by 2020 to reach 14 in 2022. The program provides for widespread coverage in all Italian Regions and foresees that already in 2018 over 2.500 recharging infrastructures will be installed throughout the national territory.
The Plan also includes the EVA+ (Electric Vehicles Arteries) project co-financed by the European Commission in which Audi itself participates together with other manufacturers, which provides for the installation by October 2018 of 180 fast charging points along extra-urban sections Italian.
