Atlantia: profit down, Ebitda improves

Motorway traffic decreased by 1,9% in the first nine months of 2013 on the network under concession in Italy and increased significantly (+6,3%) on the network abroad.

Atlantia: profit down, Ebitda improves

In the first nine months of the year, Atlantia recorded a net profit attributable to the group of 558 million, down by 20,6% compared to the result for the first nine months of 2012, which however benefited – underlined the company – from non-financial income recurring (198 million) deriving from the acquisition of control of some Chilean concessionaires.

On a like-for-like basis of consolidation, the profit attributable to the Group increased by 8,4 percent. The gross operating margin (Ebitda) amounted to 1,995 billion, up by 5,3% compared to the first nine months of 2012 (+0,3% on a like-for-like basis of consolidation). Consolidated revenues amounted to 3,167 billion, up by 4,2% (-0,1% on a like-for-like basis).

The Group's net financial debt as at 30 September 2013 amounted to 9,605 billion (a decrease of 504 million compared to 31 December 2012). Subject to the effectiveness of the merger by incorporation of Gemina into Atlantia, the Board of Directors has resolved to approve the distribution of an interim dividend for 2013 of €0,355 per share, equal to the interim dividend distributed to November 2012.
