These are the themes that have characterized the comparison between theNational Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI), Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), the mayors of the Metropolitan Cities and those of Regional capitalsThe working table was opened by the interventions of Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of Naples and President of ANCI, Dario Scannapieco, CEO of CDP, and Matteo Lepore, Mayor of Bologna and Coordinator of the Metropolitan Cities of ANCI. The meeting was held at the ANCI headquarters in the Capital and is part of a consolidated collaboration that aims to further structure itself, through a permanent comparison with periodic meetings, in order to outline shared initiatives for sustainable, inclusive and long-lasting development.
The meeting takes place in the initial phase of both the new ANCI Presidency and the implementation of the CDP Strategic Plan 2025-2027. A Plan, the latter, which articulates its pillars also on the basis of the needs of local communities.
The commitments made by CDP are associated with the mayors' agendas, highlighting the issues relating to development of urban areas, housing policies and to public sectors such as those of transportation or of the management of the water supply.
In particular, for the next three years CDP as a long-term partner in support of large and small investments is ready to offer innovative financial solutions and advisory services to make its knowledge and technical skills available. Cassa Depositi e Prestiti also proposes itself as a promoter in the infrastructure sector by expanding the range of tools aimed at realizing complex works.
