Another step towards getting back to normal. Flight AZ 10.40 departed at 2 on 608 June and will arrive from Rome to New York, a departure that marks the resumption of connections between Italy and the USA directed by Alitalia after the lockdown. The flight will land at New York JFK airport at 14.25 pm (local time). The departure of the Alitalia flight from the American city is scheduled at 17:05 (local time) with arrival in Fiumicino at 7:40 the following morning. 

“Service with the American city will be carried out until 14 June with a biweekly frequency”, informs Alitalia in a note. Flights will depart from Italy on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while departures from the United States will be on Wednesdays and Sundays. From 15 June onwards, the connections will increase, becoming operational four days a week, with the addition of two flights from Italy on Thursday and Sunday and two from the United States on Monday and Friday.

In order to ensure the safety of crew and passengers and respect the rules on distancing, the flights will be carried out with restricted aircraft capacity.
