The comments of Palermo (Acea) and Laforgia (Aqp)

“We are proud to sign this agreement between Acea and Acquedotto pugliese, i.e. between the first operator in the water sector (9,5 million inhabitants served) and the second operator (4,1 million inhabitants served), because it will give a strong strategic boost in a crucial sector at the service of the country – he commented Palermo – This new alliance will leverage each other's strengths to innovate in the water system, ensuring the highest technological standards”.

"Crucial is the common vision of the sector, in a national key, to be proposed to the institutions - he added - Among the priorities of this partnership is the need to seize opportunities for investments and development plans in Italy and abroad".

“Acquedotto Pugliese's experience is at the forefront not only because we manage the largest public aqueduct in Europe, but also because of the role that our group - claimed The forge – is developing the intelligent use of the resource with an industrial, managerial and infrastructural path whose results are evident”.

“The reality of water supply sources, which already today involves large water transfers between territories, will soon concern the whole of Europe – he added –. It is therefore important, in order to overcome difficulties, to team up, to put knowledge into a single system, acting on a scale that can no longer be just regional".
