THESingle universal check for dependent children it is also updated in 2025, bringing with it important news e increases for different categories of families. TheINPS has published the new tables with the amounts appropriate to theinflation: +0,8% is the expected increase, in line with the cost of living index recorded in 2024. In addition to this general adjustment, there are new increases for large families and with small children. Here are all the details and what changes as of January 1, 2025.
Single allowance: the new amounts adjusted for inflation
As every year, the Single Allowance is adjusted to take into account the increase in the cost of living. In this case, the increase of 0,8% applies to the amounts that will be paid starting in February. THE'maximum amount for each minor child, equal to 201 €, is intended for those who have a ISEE less than 17.227,33 euros. On the contrary, for those who exceeds the threshold maxim 45.939,56 of euros of Isee, the amount drops to € 57,5 per child. It is precisely the calculation of theIsee to determine the actual amount of the Single Allowance, and for this reason it is essential that all families ensure they have it updated, in order to avoid receiving the minimum amount.
Single allowance, what changes in 2025: the news
For some categories of families, 2025 brings significant increases thanks to the new increases provided:
- Children under one year of age: for each child, the amount of the Allowance will be increased by 50%. This benefit will last until the child's first birthday.
- Families with at least three children e Isee up to 45.939,56 euros: for children aged between 1 and 3 years, the amount will be increased by 50%.
- Families with at least four dependent children: a fixed increase of 150 euros per month is foreseen, regardless of the ISEE.
Furthermore, as you can read in the INPS note, in the months of January and February 2025 a increase transient for families with an ISEE of up to 25 thousand euros who received the Family Nucleus Allowance (Anf) in 2021.
Updated ISEE: why it is essential
To receive the correct amount, you need to submit a new Single Substitutive Declaration (Dsu) updated for 2025. If the Isee is not updated, starting from March 2025 families will only receive the minimum amount of the Allowance, regardless of their actual economic situation. However, those who present the Dsu by June 30 2025 will be entitled to arrears calculated starting from the month of March.
The ISEE can be requested online on Single portal of the INPS, through theINPS mobile app or with the help of a patronage.
Single allowance: when the increases arrive and who should apply
Families who already benefit from the Single Allowance do not have to do so a new question for 2025, unless they have received communications of decadence, revokes o I decline of the request. However, it is necessary to communicate any changes, such as the birth of a new child or the coming of age of one of the dependent children. INPS will send notifications to update the situation, ensuring that each beneficiary receives the correct amount.
Other increases confirmed
In addition to the new amounts and increases already foreseen, some support measures for particular categories of families are confirmed:
- Children with disabilities: higher amounts based on the degree of disability.
- Increases for children from the third onwards.
- Mothers under 21.
- Bonus for the second earner in the family unit.
