After yesterday's +3,9%, the run on the Stock Exchange continues Finmeccanica. Yesterday the company's board of directors gave the green light to the guidelines for the implementation of the new group organizational and operational model, which provides for the incorporation of the main subsidiaries into the holding and their transformation into divisions.

At around 11 am, the stock traded on the session highs recorded so far, with an increase of 2,92% to 6,7 euros. In particular, the 100% Finmeccanica companies in the Aerospace and Defense core business will be transformed into divisions of the new Finmeccanica, which will therefore on the one hand be an operating company based on divisions and on the other will maintain the function of parent company and corporate center for companies not included in the divisional process. In other words, the companies subjected to strategic verification (Transportation and Fata), the international joint ventures in Space (Thales Alenia Space and Telespazio) and in rocketry (MBDA) and Drs Technologies.

The implementation program for the new group organizational model, which will continue throughout 2015, envisages "the immediate implementation of interventions such as the transfer of the registered offices and offices of the managing directors of the companies concerned to the Finmeccanica headquarters and the rationalization of international commercial representations in key markets”.

In the press release released yesterday late at night, the board of directors also indicated, among other things, that it had taken note of the information provided by the CEO on the due diligence processes underway at AnsaldoBreda, aimed "at allowing all interested parties to have access to any information necessary in order to be able to express concrete and definitive offers. On the basis of the latter - concluded the press release - Finmeccanica will be able to make the definitive choices in this regard".
