Deutsche Telekom confirms the 0,70 euro dividend on 2012 results. The go-ahead came after the publication of the latest quarterly accounts, which turned out to be in line with expectations.
Net income marked an increase of 76%, to 614 million euros, thanks to the disappearance of some extraordinary elements. The figure is lower than the expectations of analysts, who expected growth of 84% to 639 million. Adjusted profits fell 14% to $819 million. Second quarter Ebitda, excluding extraordinary charges, was stable at 4,7 billion euros.
The telecommunications group confirmed its forecasts for 2012: gross margin to 18 billion from 18,7 last year and against 18,2 estimated by analysts.
