Stock market, Finmeccanica rebounds. Guarguaglini: "Never created slush funds"

Pier Francesco Guarguaglini “states categorically of never having created slush funds, that he has never given or given orders to give sums of money to politicians and/or parties". As the president of Finmeccanica he defends himself against the accusation of fraud in the context of the Enav bribery investigation. The manager then reiterates "that Lorenzo Cola has never been his right-hand man, as instead reported by some media". Finally, Guarguaglini "expresses confidence in the work of the judiciary, which has already shed light on the Digint case which did not involve any executive or manager of Finmeccanica".

Meanwhile, in Piazza Affari, the Italian defense giant rebounds after yesterday's collapse (-6,6%). By mid-morning, the stock rose again, after gaining more than 5%.

As for the subsidiary Selex Sistemi Integrati, also involved in the bribe investigation, yesterday's board of directors resolved in a stalemate. CEO Marina Grossi (wife of Guarguaglini, accused of fraud and corruption) remained in her post, despite the request for 'a step back' sent in a letter from the CEO of the group, Giuseppe Orsi.
