After the joint venture set up in Taiwan and announced at the end of June, Azimut is planning China. This was announced by Pietro Giuliani, president and CEO of Azimut Holding.
“Taiwan is similar to Italy in many respects, there is a need for financial planning. It is an important agreement, we start with Taiwan and then focus on China". Azimut's expansion is not limited only to Asian countries, Giuliani underlines how the talks in Brazil and more generally in South America are also going well.
Commenting on the half-yearly data, the CEO of Azimut recalls how profits are in line with those of last year (the period in which the absolute record was recorded in terms of net profit). “We are optimistic, we see no signs of a slowdown even if the external situation is worsening and the scenario is moderately pessimistic. We are doing so many things that we continue to grow”.
For the coming months, Azimut is planning the launch of new products which are scheduled for September 2013 and February 2014.
