Impact Hub Milano, a certified startup incubator with a focus on impact initiatives part of a global network with 102 locations, is launching the second edition of IHM Acceleration, a call for equity for startups with a total value of 250.000 Euros. The five best business projects in the field of social impact will be able to benefit from these cash resources and services.

The call follows the success of the first launch edition of the format which saw the candidacy of 70 business projects and the choice of six deserving young companies (one more than those initially envisaged) in various fields of application: #Charity , #SportTech, #SharingDelivery, #HealthyLiving and #SocialFood. Some of these companies have already been presented to potential investors.

Upon completion of the call, there will be 14 startups in the portfolio of Impact Hub Milano which will therefore have accompanied around 100 entrepreneurial projects and startups in acceleration and pre-acceleration paths in around 5 years of activity.

According to the already positively tested formula, the call is supported by IHM Club Deal, a closed club of private investors close to the incubator, thanks to which it will be possible to offer each of the selected young companies seed money for 20.000 Euros.

In addition to the cash contribution, there is a 6-month acceleration path worth 30.000 Euros which includes support from tutors and mentors to develop business projects from a business and technology point of view, as well as the availability of coworking spaces; services and seed money will be offered in exchange for 7% equity.

The possibility of being able to have spaces in the new premises of the accelerator inaugurated last October in Via Aosta 4 also allows to be able to develop networking opportunities with the other realities and professionals present. The objective of the acceleration path is to prepare startups for the ready to invest phase and its final phase will be an Investor Day dedicated to the presentation of projects to an audience of selected investors, as happened for some of the protagonists of the first edition.

THE PHASES OF THE CALL

From 22 May to 25 June, candidate startups can upload their application form by accessing this link.

A team of experts will evaluate the applications and invite the pre-selected startups to an in-depth pitching session to present the project.

On July 10, the acceleration program that will conclude at the end of the year will then begin.
