A few hours from the start of the bilateral summit between Italy and Germany to be held today and tomorrow in Florence, the German chancellor Angela Merkel has manifested its own satisfaction for the policy of reforms adopted by the executive headed by Matteo Renzi.
Intercepted by reporters present at Davos World Economic Forum the chancellor said: "There are reform efforts in Italy too, finally and the fact that Renzi was here is an important sign". An important declaration, that of the German chancellor who will land at Pisa airport at 17 pm and then head to the Florentine city. First meeting with Prime Minister Renzi and with the mayor of Florence Dario Nardella already this evening while the bilateral summit will take place tomorrow morning at the Academy of Fine Arts.
