The session of the European stock exchanges is off to a good start, attempting to rebound after three negative closures. About an hour into trading Milan earn 1%, Frankfurt 0,8%, Paris 0,7% and London 0,9%.
A Tokyo, however, the Nikkei index closed up 1,15%, while the Topix recorded +1,35%.
Positive signs that arrive despite the day of sales a Wall Street, where the indices all closed in the red on the wave of the profit warning launched yesterday by WalMart and the trend in consumption (+0,1%), which largely disappointed expectations. At the end of the session, Dow Jones -0,92%, S&P500 -0,56%, Nasdaq -0,3%.
On the foreign exchange front, the euro strengthens again and changes hands at 1,1489 dollars (1,1438 last night) and 136,42 yen to (136,41) while the greenback trades against the Japanese currency at 118,74 yen (119,24).

As for the individual securities of the Ftse Mib, among the blue chips, a good start for fca (+ 1,52%) and stm (+1,61%) while Ferragamo loses 2,34%. Out of the main price list, start in sharp decline for Fincantieri, which sheds 13% after the group announced that the subsidiary Vard Holding, of which it holds 55,63%, launched a profit warning on the quarter and on the year due to the difficulties of the construction sites in Brazil.
The overall start of the banking and insurance sectors was good, where the stocks are all in positive territory but with a performance of more than 1% only for the Banco Popolare, which gains 1,42%.
Instead, the luxury sector suffers, after that Burberry reported results for its fiscal first half (ended Sept. 30) that came in below analyst expectations. The sharp slowdown in sales in China weighed on the accounts, accounting for more than 30% of the group's turnover, which in London lost about 10% at the start. His performance, as well as on Ferragamo, also weighs on Tod’s, which drops by 1,94%.
Stocks in the energy sector, on the other hand, hold despite the weakness in crude oil prices: Eni at the start it rises by 1,04%, Enel by 1,19% while among infrastructure builders Saipem earns 0,64% and Tenaris 1,30%.
