Finmeccanica, Agusta Westland to supply helicopters to Norway: operation worth 1,15 billion

Agusta Westland, a Finmeccanica group company, has been awarded a contract worth approximately 1,15 billion euro for the supply of 16 AW101 helicopters in search and rescue (SAR) configuration to the Norwegian government. This was announced by Finmeccanica in a press release, specifying that the contract includes a complete training and support package and includes options for a further six helicopters. The delivery of the machines to the Norwegian Air Force will take place from 2017 to end in 2020. The contract provides for the supply of support for 15 years, including spare parts, technical support and training services.
