Very close to the last one Accelerathon 2018 di FactorYmpresa Tourism, the Program sponsored by MiBAC and managed by Invitalia antenna which offers tutoring services and economic contributions to businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in the tourism sector, with the aim of increasing the quality of the offer and making Italy more competitive on international markets.
Il 20 and the 21 September, the 20 best startups selected by Invitalia with innovative projects in the Food&Wine Tourism, they will compete against each other with business plans in a full immersion of 36 hours. The startuppers will work together with Invitalia tutors and mentors to "accelerate" the development of their projects capable of raising the quality and rate of innovation of food and wine tourism and to improve the team's ability to present the project to potential investors/partners/ clients.
The Accelerathon will be hosted by Lingotto Fair of Turin, in the context of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2018, the largest international food event organized by Slow Food. nell 'Year of Italian Food, with its #foodforchange, Slow Food's Salone del Gusto 2018 is the most suitable location for the Accelerathon, because it is in line with the spirit of the FactorYmpresa Turismo project declined on the theme of food and wine tourism.
To participate in the challenge, however, there is still short while! It is necessary to answer the Invitalia call and submit your project innovative business on food and wine tourism within hours 12.00 of 10 September 2018. Invitalia will select i 20 best projects who will be able to participate in the Accelerathon.
Tourism Experience, Marketing & Export and Territory, the topics on which startuppers are asked to work to develop proposals capable of creating value for:
- verify the strengths and weaknesses of the business model;
- define how to strengthen the project by identifying the need for specialist services;
- prepare a pitch of maximum 3 minutes to introduce yourself to the jury.
At the end of the Accelerathon, a jury appointed by MiBAC and Invitalia will award the 10 best startups with financial support: each of them will receive a sum of 10.000 € to be used for the development of the business project.
Before preparing and uploading the presentation of the business idea (maximum 15 slides) to the FactorYmpresa Turismo platform, it is necessary to read the Rules, Context and the Challenge. Furthermore, to improve and perfect the business idea, starting from 13 July 2018, another aid is online: the reporting. of the Town meeting “Food and Wine Tourism” which took place in Turin on 11 July 2018. The "brainstorming" day, which saw the participation of over one hundred experts and stakeholders of the tourism sector from all over Italy, was functional to the challenge launched to the business world, because the solicitations collected have traced a road map able to guide startuppers committed to presenting innovative business projects capable of creating value.
